Dr. Daniel O. Reiter

Dr. Daniel O. Reiter grew up with Chiropractic. His father, Dr. Grant A. Reiter, had an office in Manchester Missouri for 40 years. Dr. Dan and his wife, Sue, opened the office in Bonne Terre in 1980. They opened 2 other offices in Ste. Genevieve and Cedar Hill. This gave 2 younger doctors a chance to own their own clinic.
In December of 2007 he opened a new office in South St. Louis. Grand Chiropractic Office is in the Southside Towers building (originally Southside National Bank). For Dr. Dan this is a reflection of his passion to promote his profession. For his daughter, Dr. Alexia, it represents an opportunity to start her own practice.
Dr. Dan’s professional memberships include the American Chiropractic Association, Missouri Chiropractic Association, and International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture. He regularly attends educational classes on treatment techniques, orthopedics, x-ray, acupuncture, diagnostics, rehabilitation, nutrition, and exam procedures. In addition to his Chiropractic license he is licensed in Acupuncture and Meridian Therapy.
Dr. Dan is a 27year member of The Bonne Terre Chamber of Commerce where he has served on the board and as president. He has also served on his Church council and as president of the Rotary Club. He and Sue are recognized Paul Harris Fellows by the Rotary International Foundation. He has been singing baritone in the St. Louis Metro Singers for the recent 7 years.
Dr. Dan’s adjusting technique is a combination of the several he has studied through his 30 years. He may chose the traditional Diversified manipulation when appropriate. He can chose the gentle Logan Basic method when called for. He has also studied Sacro-Occipital Technique, Motion Palpation, Applied Kinesiology, soft tissue techniques, and meridian therapy (Acupuncture). This variety allows him to help people with difficult or fragile conditions.
“I am proud of my profession and the opportunity to help people return to better health. It is deeply gratifying to observe our patients recovering and thereby enjoying more out of life!” Daniel O. Reiter D.C.

Dr. Alexia M. Hampton

Dr. Alexia Hampton is a wife and busy mother of two adorable and energetic children.  Dr. Hampton grew up in Bonne Terre.  She and her husband, Mike settled down here with their children, Olivia and Cameron to live.  She can think of no better place to practice chiropractic.

The decision to become a chiropractor seemed inevitable as she is the 3rd generation to graduate from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO.  However, she came to this in a round-about way.  After high school Dr. Hampton began studies at SIUE in theatrical costume design.   As different career paths dead-ended and lacked personal fulfillment, she returned home and began working as a chiropractic assistant for her father.  She witnessed lives changing as patients would first come into the office sick and in pain, and after series of treatment would feel better, live healthier, and in some cases patients were able to return to activities that they loved but had given up on because they caused severe pain.  It was then that Dr. Hampton chose to begin studying to become a chiropractor.

Being raised in a chiropractic family which always took a holistic approach to health care has helped Dr. Hampton to make the decision to raise her family in the same manner.  By receiving regular chiropractic adjustments, her family rarely falls ill, misses little-to-no work and school, and is able to participate in extra-curricular activities.  Both of her children had their first gentle adjustments within minutes of being born.  Because of this Dr. Hampton has special interest in chiropractic pediatrics and pregnancy care.  Since we have our spines from day one, it is never too soon to make sure it is functioning at its highest potential.  Dr. Hampton specializes in techniques so gentle that a newborn can be adjusted.

Dr. Hampton’s professional memberships include the Missouri State Chiropractors Association and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.  She attends continued-education classes on diagnostics, x-ray, examination procedures, orthopedics, rehabilitation, treatment techniques, and nutrition.  Dr. Hampton is a member of the Bonne Terre Chamber of Commerce and the Daughters of Isabella.  She served as President of the Lambda Kappa Chi Sorority at Logan College of Chiropractic, and received an award for outstanding service in the Logan Chiropractic Clinical Health Centers.

Dr. Hampton is most grateful to have the opportunity to help others improve their health by educating on healthy live practices and unlocking the power that heals the body.

“It’s a comfort to me to know that as we get older we don’t have to accept that being in pain is part of the normal aging process.  With Chiropractic care I hope to live a long and pain free life……… and you can too!”
